Troop 12 is a Scouting America troop for youth ages 11 to 17, right here in Hollis. Scouts run their own program in patrols, with a monthly outdoor trip at its center. Adult leaders train and coach.
When: Tuesdays, 7:00 to 8:30 pm during the school year
Where: Hardy Hall, Hollis Congregational Church
Who: Ages 11 to 17. New scouts welcome any time of year.
Campouts, hikes, camporees, swims, and ski trips about once a month, plus the annual White Mountain trek.
A week of swimming, boating, and merit badges. Camperships help families who need them.
Roadside clean-ups, Scouting for Food, caroling with seniors, and projects at our chartered church.
Scouts earn ranks and merit badges and take on real leadership roles in the troop.
Every other year, the troop goes big. Past Big Trips have taken scouts to Glacier National Park and Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, and the 2026 Big Trip went to Switzerland.
Scouts help plan the route and raise the money to get there.
Saturday, October 24, 5:00 to 8:00 pm in Hardy Hall. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, open to all of Hollis.
